Link building through forums again valuable?

Link building through forums again valuable?

When I checked one of my competitors to determine how many keys he stands over me. I have both the Onpage criteria, as well as the criteria Offpage considered.

In analyzing the back links I noticed that he had a large part of his links from profiles and posts from forums receives. I have rough times and come thick and fast at around 60-70% of forum posts. There are forums, the content of the page with nothing to do. The links are not even big equipped with keywords, but mainly just the URL.

I was always assumed that these links do not bring much more power and hardly inherit, but must now apparently well rethink. At least it helps my competitors seem to entwine itself in front of me.

I will test this time and I strongly links from various forums provide. Let's see if it really brings something. This would be my current understanding of SEO and my positive opinion of Google completely through the pile of throw, but ok, you must be willing to learn.

How I make 15K a month at AdSense

I start with keyword lists from adsenseheaven dot com which guesstimates the most expensive keywords to bid on in the PPC AdWords side of the Google ad world. I generally ignore the top 1000, as they are very competitive and saturated. I am not concerned with the top payouts.

I store this data every month in a mySQL database with the previous months data, and over time I am able to see which phrases are consistently in the lists and unlikely to disappear. I call them long term performers.

I cross check each phrase with the number of pages currently indexed in google, to see how much competition there is for a each key phrase. It's usually easier to land a top 10 first page SERP position if there is less competition for the phrase.

A story of Success

I've been really into SEO and interlinking my own network of sites to get high rankings in the SERPS for the past year, and experimenting with different types of linking strategies, automation of content creation, and building up decent revenue with AdSense and affiliate offer marketing through search engines and Social Media.

Well, my network included about 20 sites when this picture was taken, each making about 2-15 dollars a day. That was April. Now, I've obtained about 100 sites, all feeding link juice to each other on seperate IPs and hosting. This drives mad traffic and I currently make a few hundred dollars to nearly 1000 (peak traffic) a day from this small network.

I maybe spent $2000 on this tops, but you can start out with 10 dollars for a domain and cheap hosting. Once you start building your network, just gotta keep making it bigger with better links and what not. If you can pay for something to automate most of it, do it and you'll save a lot of time and make a ton more money.

I leverage the traffic with cheap search traffic, too, and run affiliate offers through landing pages which bring me at least a few thousand a day now, too. It took a while to set everything up and realize what I was doing, but I'm glad I sat down and just decided to do it rather than care about whether or not my accounting homework gets turned in on time instead. Now, my college mates are all asking me to teach them in class instead of the boring marketing teacher. Lol..

Going From Zero To $25 Per Day

My Objective: To earn on average $25 a day with a free Blogger blog within 90 days

Yes, I know that I could use a website or a WordPress script. For this experiement, I will be using Blogger. I want to keep the financial expenses at zero (and yes, I know that time has value. Just talking about out of pocket money).

So let's begin:

I first want to express that I have no knowledge or experience in the niche I am about to tackle. I found it by accident while doing some keyword research last week. Before then, I didn't even know it existed. I had to look it up on Wikipedia because I had no clue what the niche even meant.

In digging a little further with my keyword research, I discovered three keyword phrases that really intrigued me:

Keyword phrase #1: 1441 daily Google searches - 7 competing webpages
Keyword phrase #2: 1542 daily Google searches - 125 competing webpages
Keyword phrase #3: 1526 daily Google searches - 925 competing webpages

*NOTE: I came up with the competing webpages by placing the keyword phase inside of quotation marks in the Google search box

Those search counts are daily numbers from Google searches, not monthly. So I am looking at a total daily count of 4509. That's awesome.

And ranking high should not be a problem because of the low competiton. Look at KW phrase #1. There are only 7 pages to compete with it. My goal is to have ALL of the first page of Google for that keyword phrase.

These three keyword phrases are very closely connected within its niche, making targeting even easier.

So I am pretty confident that I can generate a fair amount of traffic. But how to make it profitable?

This is niche is unique (its health related). There isn't anything on Clickbank that addresses it. I found one affiliate program on Commission Junction that pays between $5-10 per lead. I have applied for the affiliate program a few days ago, but haven't been approved yet (I just emailed them regarding how long it generally takes to get applications approved).

Other than that, I will be using Google Adsense to generate the $25 per day needed to reach my goal. I know that it doesn't pay out the best, but because of the uniqueness of the niche, I can't seem to find many affiliate programs to promote.

So I took the main word of my keyword phrases, and placed it in the Spyfu.com tool.

It shows just 2 advertisers, but the Cost/Click value shows: $0.62 - $1.99.

So I am going to estimate that I should make on average $0.50 per click. And if I use a conservative 10% CTR from my Adsense ads, then I will need 500 unique visitors a day to my blog to hit my daily income objective.

Here's the math: (500 visitors X 10% CTR = 50 click X $0.50 = $25 per day goal)

I know that I am not including the affiliate leads, but there's no guarantee I'll get apprved. When I do, I'll factor them into the equation.

Are my numbers ok? Too high, too low?

I have already signed up for the free blog at Blogger and set up the template. When I get approved for the affiliate program, I am going to use a button they provide which has an EPC of about $50 (to the my knowledge, this means that it generates about $50 in profits for every 100 impressions). I am going to place it on the top right corner.

I have two skyscrapers going down the right side, with a small banner adsense ad at the end of the post.

I have already written up one post, consisting on one way to use the keyword phrase I'm targeting.

I also installed Statcounter code to keep track of the traffic.

I make $4500-$6000 per month with Adsense

Another success story

I make $4500-$6000 per month with Adsense

Here is the story on how I get $4500-$6000 per month from Adsense... I hope you guys find it inspiring and useful as well. Keep in mind though that I consider myself pretty new to Adsense since I started this whole thing in february this year.

Anyway, one month before I even put up my first site I spent a lot of time on forums, reading books etc. on how seo works, how to make the best use of adsense and how to build sites of high quality in niches with high paying keywords.

I came to the following conclusion, and this is what I always keep in mind when building a website:
- I don't overdo the SEO, no keyword stuffing or anything like that. No aggressive incoming links. I make quality websites for humans in the first place and then adjust them afterwards to rank well in search engines.
- I only do websites in niches with acceptable paying keywords, and I use one domain per niche.
- The websites are very content rich, 200-1000 words per page, and on each page I am very much on topic, no blah blah about other things just to fill it up. I write texts for humans, not search engines. Each site has about 10-20 pages related to the niche.
- I use ads that blend in very well, same link colours as my own links and white background like all of my sites have. I never spam pages with 3 ad units, instead I use good positioning which grabs the users attention. I never make any placements that could possibly break the Adsense TOS.
- To me good design is important. When I make a website and show it to a friend he/she should find it good looking.
- The amount of visitors is not important to me. I used to have adsense on a hobby site with 3000 visitors/day and only got $5/day. Then I started a niched website about finance and got $40/day from only 150 visitors/day. In fact, my 8 websites all together don't even reach 1000 unique visitors per day!
- I make as high quality websites as I can and follow adsense TOS very carefully. A ban would be a disaster since adsense is the only income I have at the moment.

I make ten of thousand of dollars…..

I make ten of thousand of dollars, why I should share the secret with you ?

This week I was mostly online on forums, blogs and other interesting websites reading about goals, ways to earn good money, affiliate marketing stuff, clickbank & cj , etc etc. One guy took my breath away with his target for one month ( 400k US dollars ) and other with 150k US dollars checks straight to his bank account and I’m finding myself a tiny little bug next to these guys. BUT I can’t shut up and i will tell you my opinion on this.

Our planet’s population hit 6.5 to 7 billion and let’s say there are out there few hundred successful internet marketers in the whole world making ten of thousand of dollars per month … maybe per week. Few of them are well-known and share their experience with us and earn extra money from it ( they’re not the top players in the industry ), most of them are unknown who wish to remain anonymous. Not anyone can earn money like them that’s for sure;

So what’s the secret, how to become a milionare from internet ? You better play the lottery and I’m sure you will have greater chance then try the internet. First of all you must be a part of it, to live through internet to understand all the changes and predict what could happened in months, years; you must have also good knowledge of programming languages mostly used be very intelligent and you must have that brainstorm idea which is the most important ( sex(dot)com owner isn’t in this list ). We all have great ideas but this isn’t enough, you need also some money to invest don’t forget that. Most of the well-known internet marketers started to make some money 10k+ per month after years of hard work having the qualities I mentioned before and they still work from 9 to 9.

Some Awesome Ways to Make Money Online

Here are 3 business models that newbies can consider - pick one and stick to it!

3 Business Models Under the Spotlight

1. PPC to CPA Traffic Brokering
Awesome Ways to Make Money
This involves brokering Pay Per Click Traffic (Adwords, YSM, Microsft Adcenter etc.) to CPA Offers and other affiliate programs with the intent in earning more from commissions that you spend on your ads.

Cost to setup: $1000 - $4000 (PPC software, PPC courses and lost Ad-spend)

Time Frame: 2-6 months before you make a profit as there is a steep learning curve. For complete newbies expect a longer time frame to hit a profit and a larger potential net-loss to start with. Budget and expect the worst case scenario and not the best.

Potential: Very, very lucrative with potential for a 5 figure monthly income in the first year.

Downsides: The downside with this strategy is that it is unsustainable because successful campaigns can often die for a variety of reasons and as a result you need to constantly check your stats to ensure all your campaigns are making money.

Additionally it is very hard and you will lose money to start with.

It is also very difficult to outsource the work involved without giving away your strategies, niches and successful keywords. I also find it very mundane work.

2. Article\Web 2.0 Marketing, Blogging & Affiliate Marketing

If money is an issue then try starting with article marketing mixing in Squidoo and other web 2.0 properties to promote your own blog and affiliate products (CPA Offers, ClickBank, eBay etc.).

Over time you should work on building up a really useful 'product focused' niche blog that provides true value to its readers.

This blog will create long term sustainability to your income and open up new revenue streams.

Look to add value to the reader and not just fill your site with crappy filler content and poorly written articles.

Additionally you should work on other promotion techniques (there are so many available) as this will greatly expand your business as you can get more traffic – and traffic is key.

This is the main strategy that I teach so if you want some more tips then join my mailing list.

Cost to Setup: $10-$20 (domain name & hosting).

Time Frame: Results can be seen in first 1-2 months but are usually quite modest.

Potential: If you work on this daily creating several articles each day and promoting them wisely reaching $100 a day over a few months is realistic. If you grow your blog to dominate its niche potential is higher but it’s a lot of work and results are slow and gradual.

Despite the long term effort required I prefer this out of the 3 strategies because it is so sustainable and very easy to outsource 90% of tasks making it very easy to semi-automate once the site is established.

You can literally create a $100/day profitable blog and outsource 90% of the tasks so you only need to spend 2 hours a week on the site dealing with freelance staff. That’s like $700/hr once you are set-up which is why I love this strategy.

Downsides: Can take a few months to build momentum to start seeing a decent return, but once past that you will never look back.

3. PLR eBooks & Membership Site

This is where you get lots of PLR eBooks on a certain niche and setting up a niche membership site where you give access to all these eBooks.

Promote your membership site in relevant niche forums and groups (like Yahoo Groups) using a signature link and making interesting posts (not blatent advertising) and possibly do some article marketing as above.

Use of a mailing list with an autoresponder is also important to help close the sale and drive additional sales.

Cost to Setup: $100-$800 (Buying PLR eBooks, Membership Script, Email Autoresponder, Domain, Hosting).

Potential: Once you have your membership site and an autoresponder series setup (about 2-12 weeks work for newbie) if you work extremely hard every day to promote your membership site to a targeted audience reaching a 4 figure ($xxxx) monthly income within a few weeks of launch is realistic - with experience you can rinse and repeat this method and get even better results.

Using a recurring membership structure will help with long term revenue.

Downside: Finding quality PLR eBooks can be extremely difficult. There’s lots of PLR out there but most of them are awful quality.

Additionally continuous work is needed to sustain income. Even with recurring memberships people usually cancel so your income will depreciate unless you continue with promotion or launch a new site.

While some work can be outsourced it is difficult to outsource some of it meaning it is hard to automate this business model in its entirity.

Make money online with AdSense revenue sharing sites

I think every webmaster has an Adsense account. Well you can earn not only with your website, but being active in some big websites too that shares their income with the members. They have systems so the ad revenue can be shared between all active members.

These websites use Google AdSense to automatically serve relevant ads for the content on the page. Google pays (you) AdSense publishers on a per click basis as well as per impression.

AdSense revenue sharing websites

Here is a list with Google AdSense revenue sharing sites.
